Sabrina, while not necessarily a girly-girl, was pretty normal growing up. She had a wide circle of friends but was never exactly close to anyone. She wasn't a damsel in distress, either; she could certainly hold her own and then some. Definitely not a force to be reckoned with, she's tough and not to be underestimated. Sabrina's mother, Rita, has bad luck with men, and as a result, ever since Sabrina could walk she's been protecting her mother from them. She's very hesitant to get close to them, and for good reason. She has always warned her mother that they will always leave her in the end, but Rita has an awful judge of character. After Casey's father ran off, Rita finally listened to her daughter's advice and stopped trying to find a father to stabilize the family. Her mother had been teaching her to be a seamstress ever since she was 5, and Sabrina did a fair job at it, but it wasn't something that suited her. Her decision to become a knight was somewhat made on a whim when she was 9, but her mother didn't stop her, and now Sabrina knows that it is the best thing to ever happen to her. Near her 19th birthday, she was made a lieutenant. Sabrina has two younger brothers who excel at giving constant headaches. They enjoy causing trouble around the house or with their friends, and Rita has to make sure they don't burn down anything. Or kidnap a neighbor's cat and tie sacks around its feet, which happens to be their second favourite pastime. Their first is jumping across the neighborhood roofs and dropping things on unsuspecting passerbys. Sabrina's "father(s)" up and left as each child was born for their own reasons -- one was afraid of responsibility; another had taken the whole situation as a one-night stand, leaving with all of Rita's money the following morning; the last simply disappeared into the wind. His body was found in the mountains months later. As a result, Sabrina typically doesn't trust men unless they show their worth. |
She is aware of her beauty, but never brings it up in conversation. She has an ego, but suppresses it unless she is in battle. She can be curt with people when she doesn't care to be around them, but is polite in general. She is courteous to all classes, but rarely associates with or befriends those who are lower than her, more out of habit than unfamiliarity. She is a stickler for schedules and almost forces others to adhere to them as well as she does. She won't bow for any man. Worth, courage, and chivalry are traits that usually attract her. She is mentally as tough as nails and able to remain calm under pressure. Very rarely does she explode out of any extreme emotion, but it does happen. She can be distrustful of strangers, especially males, but does warm up to them once trust is established. She never wastes any words or movements, she only does what is necessary. |
Her blond hair falls to the middle of her back but she generally keeps it neatly braided and up out of her face. When she isn't in armor she is normally in dresses. Her armor suit is rather large and almost clunky, but it's absolutely perfect for her. She generally doesn't wear a helmet. She certainly knows how to be a lady. She speaks like one, walks like one, eats like one. She makes sure she is always clean and orderly. But as for how she acts with others, you wouldn't necessarily call her gracious. |
